1st EU-Japan EPA Forum, Copenhagen, April 12, 2018

The 1st EU-Japan EPA Forum was staged by Nordstrom International on April 12, 2018 in cooperation with Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO), The European Commission, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (MOFA), hosted in the Old Stock Exchange in Copenhagen at the Danish Chamber of Commerce. The business summit brought together key policy-makers behind the EU-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) and a high-level international audience of 200+ senior business leaders. With executive speakers from AIRBUS, Alstom, J.P.Morgan, Mizuho Bank, NEC, Ericsson, Novo Nordisk amongst others.  

Keynotes were given by Cecilia Malmström, EU- Commissioner for Trade, Taro Kono, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, Marco Chirullo, EU’s EPA Deputy Chief Negotiator, Directorate-General Trade, European Commission, Yoichi Suzuki, Japan’s Former Chief Negotiator on the EPA, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan, Takehiko Matsuo, Director General for Trade Policy, Ministry of Economic, Trade and Industry (METI), Yasukazu Irino, Executive Vice President, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) to name a few.
